My name is Deborah Sumter. I work as Communications and Knowledge manager at the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability (LDE CfS). In this role I work on science communication and knowledge valorisation. I write articles which are published on the LDE CfS website, organise events (e.g., round table discussions between researchers as well as external events such as seminars) and I am the host of the Uit de Ivoren Toren podcast.

In may 2021 I defended my PhD on Circular Economy Competencies for Design at Delft University of Technology. My thesis concludes with a set of 9 key circular economy competencies for design. Read more here.
